Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: parcellite

Expected result: Run Parcellite. Click on icon in notification area to change
clipboard contents.
Actual result: Upon clicking on icon in notification area, the Parcellite menu
does not appear. The mouse can still move but the computer is unresponsive. I
am able to switch to a virtual terminal (Ctrl-Alt-F1). I ran Top and found that
parcellite is using 99.9% of the CPU cycles. After running "killall
parcellite", I am able to switch back to the desktop and continue normal use.
This began after a recent update. Rebooting the system did not help; I get the
same result every time.
