Public bug reported: I am creating this as a generic bug report as it would include several bugs already reported. The issue is that in Intrepid, bluetooth does not recover the paired device. In many of the cases (as in mine), I have to delete the device and re-pair it. I can then use the device until I reboot/suspend/hibernate. At which time I have to delete the device and re-pair it again. In my case, the bluetooth applet stops showing the tab showing the know devices on the Bluetooth Preferences screen if I attempt to use the device without re-pairing. To recover from this senerio, I have to turn off the device, reboot the machine, go directly to the Bluetooth Preferences screen, delete the device, re-pair the device, and then I can resume using it.
Additionally, the device I am using is a headset, the play/pause button and the next/prev track buttons (on the headset) are no longer recognized by Rythmbox. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Intrepid] Bluetooth Doesn't Reconnect After Reboot/Suspend/Hibernate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290452 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
