>Did you select the experimental 3 way merge during kernel setup ? Yes I select the 3 way merge, because : 1) I have on option in grub to allow my hard disks to be detected. So I have add a "all_generic_ide". 2) My graphic card, NVidia GeForce4 MX440, was not clearly recognised by Ubuntu 8.4, so it cost me a lot to make it work.
