I can absolutely second this. After upgrading my girlfriend's ASUS K8N4-based system to Dapper, the onboard sound, Ethernet and USB controllers failed to configure correctly. This behaviour was also exhibited after wiping the hard drive and installing Kubuntu Edgy.
