Hadrien Dussuel: Do you mean that radeonhd is not even in the repositories now, so you can't get it with apt-get? That would be really bad for us users, as we would have to download it manually from console (?)
One other option is to install fglrx (I did), but for that I think you would have to manually edit sources.lst from console, so again not user friendly. I think this is a big issue, and it obviously affects quite a few people.
