I have finally had a chance to sit down and produce output from both kernels. I have included the dmesg & lshal from kernels 2.6.24-19 and -21 and have included a diff file. Hope this helps. I will also try to produce these files from my Dell Vostro 1400 where the problem does not appear and post those.
