** Changed in: openoffice Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Chris Cheney (ccheney) Target: None => jaunty-alpha-1
** Summary changed: - [upstream] i.e. is autocorrected to I.e. + [jaunty] i.e. is autocorrected to I.e. ** Description changed: + It appears this is corrected in OOo 3.0.0, need to verify. + + === + Binary package hint: openoffice.org2 When I try to type i.e., the i is automatically uppercased, making it I.e. This is a frequently used abbreviation, and will be quite annoying. I was able to stop this by removing the "i" -> "I" replacement rule. Adding it as an exception (either "i." or "i.e." did nothing). I would have thought autocorrections should only happen after a space is typed, so parts of abbreviations aren't autocorrected, but that's an issue for upstream. -- [jaunty] i.e. is autocorrected to I.e. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155750 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
