Today I installed the latest NetworkManager from "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/network-manager/ubuntu intrepid main". I can now finally connect to my VPN network! However, if I try to save the password in the keyring, I still get a VPN error about 'shared secrets'. And I am also having some DNS issues while connected to my VPN, although these might as well be unrelated to NetworkManager.
