** Description changed:

Since upgrade to edgy 6.10 the new boot-routine do not accept hand typed
passkey for cryptdisks.
- When asked for passkey it types the passkey in cleartext to the screen and
reports "can't read passkey" after enter. After that it asks again for the
passkey. This time the passkey is not written to the screen but after enter
message "can't read passkey" appears again.

Mount's in /etc/crypttab are not mounted.
After boot up, typing "sudo /etc/init.d/crypdisks restart" every thing works
fine.
