Confirmed that I have the same problem (on Intrepid, with flashplugin- nonfree). Specifically, Firefox prints this out to console on startup:
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so [libnss3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory] LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so [libnss3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory] LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so [libnss3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory] When I have libnss3-1d package installed already. Flash does not play in Firefox and does not appear in my plugins list. Håvard H.
