It does not depend on system or auto settings. I choose one existing connection and try to add new route to it by IPv4 settings-->Routes-->Add. It is possible to add a route and it is remembered when I close Routes window. When I press now OK again to go back to first network manager window and go then back to "Edit connection"->IPv4 settings->Routes, then routes window is empty again, my previously entered route was not saved. I have tried every combination of system and auto checkmarks, these do not change this.
