So obviously it seems to be a problem in the new X.Org 1.5 keyboard driver or, maybe, in the evdev handler. I haven't got the necessary knowledge of the X.Org internals to do a further diagnostic. The bug had been notified to the upstream developers, and had been confirmed, but still no improvements.
