I can also confirm the problem. The reason for this is that "vboxvideo" must be used as a video driver but x11config.pl does not add vboxvideo.
And there's another problem, too: If you use the vboxvideo driver under intrepid, the xserver won't even start, because of "module ABI major version (2) doesn't match the server's version (4)" (taken from my Xorg.0.log).
