Hey all, I had the same issue here with my adaptec 39160 controller, and ubuntu Intrepid release. This has happened several times over the course of ubuntu new releases, however its interesting that it rarely occurred during the pre-release periods! The rootdelay=40 "fixed" the issues... coz
