i was asking around the irc chan today and i got a "get rid of pulseaudio" comment, the person didn't even ask me any questions, just a straight out get rid of pulseaudio, its always pulseaudio's fault, use alsa....well being sceptical i went to system>preferences>sound and even though i had some devices set to auto, i set all of my audio devices to alsa...i've been going for 7 hours now on the laptop...
