Public bug reported:

I cannot set my resolution to 1680x1050.

I have tried:

System -> Preferances -> Screen Resolution (Allows 1024x768 max, 4:3
only)

System -> Administration -> NVIDIA X Server Settings (Can get to
1152x864 max)

Also tried various x.org conf changes found on differing forums with
no changes, just defaults back to 1024x768

I had this working eventually in Hardy after many many hours spent
trying differing x.org edits which I no longer remember where I got them
from, and would rather not have to do this again!

Graphics Card: Nvidia 6150se (onboard)
Driver: NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 177) - Installed as
recommended by System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers
Monitor: LG Flatron Wide (L226WTQ - SF)
OS: Intrepid x64

Having had a brief look at the nvidia control panel and logs, it seems
like the monitor is not being detected at all. As it does not display
model, vendor, name or anything about it.

Thanks
