Binary package hint: cheese
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 on laptop with Acer Crystaleye web camera.
Camera works ok, sound recording is ok in different apps (sound
recorder, skype, ekiga, etc), but not in cheese.
It may be related to video encoding mechanism of cheese. So after
recording, video is ultra fast with almost no sound (sometimes
flickers).
