I think I am having the same problem.  It doesn't seem to generate
anything in /var/crash.

Evolution would crash every time I tried to go to the calendar.

When I ran evolution from the command line, I did not have the same
problem.  When I removed "--component email" from the launcher, it also
stopped having the problem.

>From the command line:

$ evolution --component mail
** (evolution:11195): DEBUG: mailto URL command: evolution %s
** (evolution:11195): DEBUG: mailto URL program: evolution

** (evolution:11195): WARNING **: Couldn't open 
http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/..../basic.ics: Operation not supported by 
backend
Changing the queries (contains? "summary" "") 
Segmentation fault
$

$ evolution
** (evolution:11257): DEBUG: mailto URL command: evolution %s
** (evolution:11257): DEBUG: mailto URL program: evolution
