I am affected by this bug. My video card is 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82845G/GL[Brookdale-G]/GE Chipset Integrated Graphics Device (rev 01)
Removing compiz solved the problem but now gnome is very slow (windows take some time to appear and you can see them being slowly drawn in the screen). Everything was fine in hardy.
