i get a similar error during startup. usb 4-1: device descriptor read/64, error -110
the 4-1 and /64 part have various numbers... this increases the boot by a lot... i have ubuntu 8.10 fully updated.. have an usb mouse (logitec) have an usb wireless router. but they both work perfectly fine...
