For me personally the solution with the script starting with 09_rtl817... didn't work quite. Suspend worked out but on resume the process of waking up the computer just blocked and I had to shut it down using the power button. After trying the same script starting with 11_rtl8187... it was all fine and the resume now completes successfully every time. I also removed the 5 sec sleep and it was all right with my laptop toshiba a210 FS108C
