I just installed 8.10 on a laptop that has sis900 for ethernet. Network does not work as hw address is 00:00:00:00:00:00. When I do fconfig eth0 hw ether 01:23:45:67:89:ab I get SIOCSIFHWADDR: cannot assign requested address
