Just like you, I saw the bug to which you referred. It simply doesn't correspond to what I experienced. Searching from a network location is working. The problem is that if you want to refine your search by adding some key words, the search is then perform on you home folder. Form there, if I want to force the location by adding criteria, the network location is missing from the list and gvfs seems to be disabled from the folder selection dialog box. The way I see it, it's more the integration with the gui that is missing not the actual searching. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>] On Behalf Of Charlie Kravetz Sent: Friday, November 07, 2008 11:03 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Bug 294901] Re: Nautilus search feature won't let you choose a network location *** This bug is a duplicate of bug 42889 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/42889 Marking as triaged, low importance ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low Status: Confirmed => Triaged -- Nautilus search feature won't let you choose a network location https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/294901 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. -- Nautilus search feature won’t let you choose a network location https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/294901 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
