For me, in the other hand, bluetooth have paired only after I installed the package for blueman. I've installed this package https://launchpad.net/%7Eblueman/+archive/+files/blueman_0.6-r121-0ubuntu3~ppa1i_i386.deb. This wiil install bluez3-utils and bluetooth3.
