Good day. There are 8 different plugins installed, a few of which I
don't even remember installing.

I selected http://www.cnn.com from the URL drop down list a few times
again today, but there were no crashes this time. The crashing
behaviour occurred on election night when I was trying to view the
presidential election results on that special election banner they had
on their home page (it's not there anymore).

I cannot remember whether they had that interactive election map on the
home page as well. But whenever I tried to select http://www.cnn.com
from the URL drop down list, Firefox would immediately crash. I presume
that these were some sort of flash or java things that were causing
problems with the browser.

Much thanks for the attention you've given to this. But it seems that
the crashes were only occurring on election night.
