Public bug reported:
I have bad problems video problems with ubuntu 8.10 64 bit after a
fresh install. This is a dual boot pc with windows and the same video
problems are not showing their. This laptop has installed 5.04 to
8.04 without the same problem.
I have attach the following screen shots with the problem.
This was also the case after 8.04 to 8.10 32 bit distribution
upgrade.
This problem goes away after dual booting into windows xp home. So
problem is with the sis driver ?
