I have had related problems on hardy with genisoimage too. The following would create an empty udf filesystem:
genisoimage -udf -o blah.iso blah I compiled the original mkisofs from cdrecord-2.01.01a53, same problem. Then, I compiled cdrkit-1.1.9.
