Hey again, I've done my daily apt-get upgrade today and also tried some tweaking my graphics card settings in X in order to speed up compositing.
Unfortunately I've lost track of what was the cure exactly, but the problem seems to have been solved. Xorg consumes only between 5 and 15 % cpu now with fullscreen transparent konsole. I'll try to undo my custom settings in xorg.conf to see whether the problem emerges again.
