I just upgraded a computer here at the office from Hardy to Intrepid. After upgrade, users with visual effects enabled saw strange visual glitches: After login, bands would appear on some parts of the screen, with the contents shifted. Some windows display the background instead of the window contents. Users without visual effects enabled do not experience this problem. We have disabled visual effects as a workaround.
The computer is a Dell Optiplex 320 with an ATI graphics card.
