I have this problem, but didn't have it under Hardy. Dual core Atlhon 5200 4.1 gb RAM ASUS M2R32-MVP motherboard.
The systme boots fine with Intrepid, it's just ignoring the extra RAM at this point. -- "Aperture beyond 4GB.
