Public bug reported: On Intrepid, I want to disable the login screen that comes up after a suspend/resume circle.
For this, it should be enough to comment out a line in /etc/default /acpi-default. Fragment from this file: # Comment this out to disable screen locking on resume LOCK_SCREEN=true I checked with this option commented and also set to 'false'. None works. In all cases when the machines resumes from a suspend to ram, it requires a password to allow X11 access. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- LOCK_SCREEN cannot be disabled in acpi-support https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298271 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
