Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio
On my Acer Aspire 4520 notebook which I recently upgraded from 8.04 to Ubuntu 8.10, pulseaudio hangs after approx. 24-48 hours uptime. Running "/etc/init.d/pulseaudio restart" has no effect; my only recourse to recover audio is "killall -9 pulseaudio". The notebook is a AMD64 Athlon dual-core running i686 version of Ubuntu. lspi: 00:07.0 Audio device: nVidia Corporation MCP67 High Definition Audio (rev a1) Pulseaudio version: 0.9.10-2ubuntu9 alsa-info.sh output: http://www.alsa- project.org/db/?f=cf8004b94ba9e6ad1a477d48647ae3f0d11c3b72 ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- pulseaudio hangs after 24-48 hours uptime https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298622 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
