Hey All, I'm not use the LaunchPad format, so any hints on how to go
about here would be welcomed. if I fungle things up.

I too have a Problem with the headphone (maybe mic too) jacks on my
laptop. I have the Realtek ALC861-VD sound chip on my Toshiba Satellite
A135-S4656 . There had been a work around that I tried with the latest
8.10 Ubuntu, but it didn't seem to make a difference. With Ibex Any
hints so I can at least pipe the sound through the headphone jack? As I
drive a truck (18 wheels yup) being able to amplify things via external
methods from time to time. - Thanks.

And while this might not be the proper place to put it, I would like to give a
heaping pile of grattiude to all that have helped create this find software
package of Ubuntu. - Ibex was a SWEET upgrade for me, with this machine. Other
then the headphone / mic jack issue, everything seems to be work well.
Including the Novatel USB Sprint Device to get online.

Kudos to all that have helped this happen. - I look forward to the time
that Ubuntu draws even more people to Linux from the other OS's...
