Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

At startup, Rhythmbox seems to change the genre metadata on some mp3
files. For example, I have an album containing 14 tracks with the genre
"Soundtrack." When Rhythmbox starts up it reports these as
"Instrumental." I can change these back to "Soundtrack" from the
properties dialog, but Rhythmbox changes them back to "Instrumental"
when restarted.

I can check the tag outside Rhythmbox, using Cowbell for example, and it
is "Soundtrack" regardless of what Rhythmbox reports. It seems that
there is an old cache somewhere that the erroneous metadata is being
drawn from.
