For me this happens very rarely. Does this happen every time you open a new firefox for you guys? I have seen this behaviour as well for a couple of times though, but pressing F11 twice fixes it.
-- The firefox window takes up all of the screen, impossible to reduce size and cannot access the close, reduce and clear screen options. The page also flickers when the mouse passes over certain areas of the screen.
