Hi,

I finally was able to solve the problem of disappearing cairo-dock in my
Ubuntu Intrepid laptop, courtesy of the solution posted in www.cairo-
dock.org.  First, I purged all cairo-dock related applications, updated
and saved the sources file, sudo apt-get update, and finally re-
installed cairo-dock, cairo-dock-data and cairo-dock-plug-ins.  Now I
have the latest cairo-dock version 1.6.3.1
