Hello guys! I recently bought a HP Pavilion dv7 1070, and I face the same problem with sound!
Sorry for the stupid question (I am quite new to linux...), but... where exactly do I have to put the "options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1"??? Do I have to edit "/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base"?
