Public bug reported: After maintenance and incidently resetting the bios clock to zero, which appreantly is the year 1904 on an iBook, the Xubuntu Edgy installer crashes. After setting the date to a proper value (28 Nov 2006) the install works fine. Here is the captured output of syslog on the crashed system:
