Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Did the system completely reboot (grub, bios, startup progress bar)? Or did the system lose your work and take you back to the login screen? Has this happened more than once? Does it happen during any particular activity? Is it reproducible? Please understand that reproducing a bug is the best way to get it fixed, and that unreproducible bugs may remain forever a mystery. Also, the application you were using at the time of the crash may have been an innocent bystander, unrelated to the crash. If you still have a /var/log/syslog and /var/log/dmesg and /var/log/Xorg.0.log showing the crash, attaching those to the bug report would help a lot. Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- adding contacts to evolution address book caused ubuntu to crash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/287892 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
