Some issue here as pointed by dynamotwain The panel of the dock does not get relocated after I add a new monitor (with a bigger resolution.) This does not happen to the icons that instead are relocated correctly.
Should we use the development branch instead of the stable where, If I understood correctly, the bug is closed due to the complete rewrite of the settings control?
