After updating my Ubuntu 8.04 LTS to 8.10 Intrepid the Bluetooth stopped working .The Bluetooth manger can only show what devices are connectible in neighborhood, but can't pair them. Only 1-2 time I saw the dialogue for "key" only for few seconds and disappear. My bluetooth adapter is based on Integrated System Solution Corp chip, too.
