I'm getting this problem too. Just upgraded to Intrepid. Graphics driver is nVidia 177.80. I'm also running a Xinerama setup with two graphics cards and three monitors.
The problem occurs about 50% of the time when I run a game (Quake 3, etc) after it quits. It's also happening with my own project that uses OIS for input from a joystick, but doesn't initialize any mouse input. It stops happening when I remove the input code from the project entirely. Worked fine in Hardy.
