Thank you @Jorge Peixoto de Morais Neto! That is the best work-around so-far. It was getting to be almost impossible to work effectively because of this bug, and now I can. My keyboard acts exactly as I expect it to now, without repeating characters/spaces, and I can use my arrow keys (another bug discussed earlier).
