Hey guys, Seems you were correct Martin, checked for my /etc/shadow and had 2 files one name "shadow" the second named "shadow-"
Both files containted the same value for root, which was the following; root:!:xxxxx:x:xxxxx:x::: <Censored the information> So it seems that the update just disabled my root account?
