A few more new results: I was running Firefox 3.0.0.4, but not yet logged on when I started up Konqueror and successfully logged on. I then logged on within the Firefox browser and wrote my comments above. Afterward I wondered, if the success by Konqueror changed anything. Yes it had, however, not completely. I now using Firefox am recognized within the Launchpad Home (and also the Code) section(s), but NOT within the Answers section.
I hope that might give you a further clue, because I am confused. For completeness, I see using Konqueror I am seen as a registered member within all the sections.
