I can confirm this issue. malloc: ../bash/dispose_cmd.c:241: assertion botched free: called with unallocated block argument Aborting...Aborted
It is affecting the one-line convenience scripts I have in /home/user/bin, most of which don't bother with the #!/bin/bash line. They work in all other versions of Linux I've used, used to work in 8.04, but they fail after an upgrade to 8.10. Simple scripts fail like this one: ssh -l username -x hostname Regards -- script crash with "assertion botched" message https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/293588 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
