@dennis: the patched kernel package built by andy will install as linux-
image-2.6.27-10-generic, but the stock intrepid kernel you normally use
lives in the package linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic. so the two packages
will sit side by side just fine, and if andy's kernel somehow won't
start on your system (unlikely), you can just select the 2.6.27-7 kernel
in GRUB when rebooting your computer, and then manually remove linux-
image-2.6.27-10-generic in the synaptic package manager.
