Hey nrml, I have actually figured out why my bit torrent freezes. The reason is because I am downloading 15GB worth of stuff and the partition that I am downloading to only has 8 GB. So my mistake. Regardless I was still locking up and freezing under some random circumstances. So what I did was fresh install Ubuntu 8.10 i686 (no 64 bit for me, at least for now), but I am still freezing/crashing. Especially when downloading or installing a new package. I personally think that it has to do with my nvidia video card driver, but I just don't know what to do. I hope someone comes to my aid.
