I have this problem on a desktop computer. On suspend+resume, my MIDI to USB adaptor is turned on but the computer won't interact with it. If I unplug and plug the adaptor back in, it works again. I think (IIRC) it's systematic, every suspend+resume leaves the device temporarily unusable.
However my USB printer and DVD writer don't have this problem (I think -- they get far less use than the MIDI adaptor). The workaround of comment #10 fixes my MIDI adaptor -- no need to unplug and reconnect the device after resume. Could this perhaps be done by default, or would it cause problems on particular hardware? -- USB does not work after suspend to RAM on IBM T42 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95144 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
