Thanks for the recordmydesktop demo.

So it is not about the content of the menu, but about where the menu
appears on the screen.  And, yes, now that I understand the complaint, I
am able to reproduce the objectionable behavior.

Do we know where in the code the location of the pop-up menu is
determined?  And is the position of the selected item available in that
context?
